Laser Tag is played with a computerised vest called a “pack” and handheld “phaser”. The aim of the game is to achieve a winning score by tagging opponent players, base stations, and other targets within a playing arena or maze.
Before entering the game, players recieve a short briefing to learn the rules. Each games takes 12 minutes to complete and breaks are scheduled between each game.
Check out our Laser Tag page for more information and tips!
Laserzone Sunshine Coast can accommodate 38 players per game. For visitors with over 38 players, people are split into multiple groups and rotated through their games.
The minimum number of players is two.
Players are teamed up with and against other people that are here at the time. We find most people love to verse other groups! We can not guarantee maze exclusivity.
If you'd like to play with just your group, check out our exclusive hire options.
Laser Tag players must be 110cm and able to carry their vest and phasor unassisted.
Our catered party packages are for kids turning 7+.
There is no maximum age to play – bring the entire family!
Our arcades are suitable for all ages.
Laser Tag can be played at your own pace. As long as you are comfortable walking for around 10 minutes and are able to climb 18 stairs, then you are probably fit enough to play!
Players will need 2 hands to operate the phasor. Please alert our crew before coming if you have restricted use of your hands.
Only you can be the judge of whether you are up to the game; the final responsibility rests with you.
Yes! Enclosed shoes must be worn while playing Laser Tag. (Crocs, while morally questionable, are acceptable footwear.)
If you forget to bring shoes, don’t fret – you can borrow a pair from Laserzone, you just need to purchase the socks!
We also recommend wearing a shirt with sleeves.
We always recommend booking! Sometimes we can reach capacity, so we recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment. General bookings do not need to pay in advance. We will always schedule any walk in visitors into our next available space.
Give us a buzz or send an email enquiry about a future date.
